Podcast guest release

By recording a podcast episode with Ibi Malik, you agree to these terms. We recommend you take a copy for your records.

Your Appearance Rights

When you appear on Ibi’s Digital Nomad Stories, you grant Earthas DNCS OÜ (trading as Ibi Malik | Digital Nomad Consulting) permission to:

• Record, edit, and publish your voice, likeness, and statements
• Use your episode across all platforms including podcast directories, YouTube, social media (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, Threads), blog posts, and email newsletters
• Create short clips, excerpts, or derivative content from your recording
• Use your name, biography, photograph, and professional details for promotional purposes
• Monetize content through sponsorships or advertising without additional compensation to you

These rights are granted perpetually and worldwide. We retain full ownership of the final edited recording.

Your Rights

You’re welcome to:

• Share, promote, or republish clips from your episode on your own platforms (please credit Ibi’s Digital Nomad Stories as the source)
• Request removal of specific sensitive content before publication by notifying us within 48 hours of recording your episode
• Retain ownership of your underlying intellectual property while granting us license to use it

What You’re Confirming

By participating, you confirm that:

• All information and stories you share are truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge
• You have the legal right to share all content discussed and haven’t violated any confidentiality agreements, NDAs, or third-party rights
• No content defames any individual or entity, violates privacy rights, or constitutes professional misconduct
• You’re over 18 years of age

Editorial Control

We maintain sole discretion over:

• Final editing and content selection
• Publication timing
• Episode title and description
• Promotional materials

We’ll make reasonable efforts to accommodate your content removal requests before publication, but we retain final editorial control. Once published, content removal requests are evaluated case-by-case but cannot be guaranteed.

Privacy & Sensitive Information

Any personal details you share (tax residency, specific financial figures, identifiable client names) can be edited or removed at your request prior to publication. Please flag within 48 hours after recording.

You acknowledge that published podcast content will be publicly accessible indefinitely.

Compensation

Guest appearances are voluntary and unpaid. You’ll receive promotional exposure through the podcast and associated platforms but are not entitled to monetary compensation, revenue sharing, or royalties.

Liability

You agree to indemnify Earthas DNCS OÜ from any claims arising from:

• False or defamatory statements you make
• Breach of confidentiality or third-party rights
• Violation of applicable laws

We’re not liable for how third parties use, interpret, or redistribute publicly available podcast content.

Takedown Policy

Once published, the license granted is irrevocable. In exceptional circumstances (legal disputes, proven factual errors, material harm), we may consider takedown requests but are not obligated to comply.

Removal from podcast platforms doesn’t guarantee removal from all distribution channels (clips may remain on social media, blog posts, etc.).

General Terms

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia and the European Union. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Estonian courts.
